Mondego Retail Park, located just outside the city of Coimbra next to the main Lisbon-Porto motorway, is one of the largest retail parks in Portugal, with a gross leasable area of more than 29,000m². It consists of 23 retail units, with tenants including Decathlon, Bricomarché, Deborla, Minipreço and Rádio Popular, and free parking for 1,300 cars.

Mitiska REIM acquired the property on behalf of FRI 2 in December 2017, and has since added value through rebranding the retail park, improving the mix and quality of the tenants, better marketing and reducing the cost base. A light refurbishment is also planned to make the retail park more customer and tenant friendly. All these initiatives should increase Mondego Retail Park’s attractiveness as a regional retail destination.
