Mitiska REIM announces first acquisition in the Netherlands

Mitiska REIM, the leading specialist investor in European retail parks, has today announced its entry into the Dutch market, with the acquisition of Retail Centre De Lely in Arnhem. This latest acquisition follows Mitiska REIM’s successful entry into the German, French, Spanish and Portuguese markets over the past 2 years.

Retail Centre De Lely is located near the city centre of Arnhem, easily accessible, and is the dominant convenience centre in the area, attracting 1.5 million visitors per year. It comprises 15 retail units, anchored by Jumbo and Lidl supermarkets, and has a total gross leasable area of 10,800m2. The site has free parking for 285 cars.

Retail Centre De Lely was acquired by Mitiska REIM from De Hoge Dennen Vastgoed. Mitiska REIM was assisted by Creating Retail Parks and Stibbe during the transaction process. CBRE and Houthoff assisted the Vendor in the sales process.
