Willem Demonie joined Mitiska REIM in 2014 as Sr. Development Manager Belgium. Since 2016 he is responsible for maintaining and maximizing the performance and value of the portfolio, by formulating and implementing a long-range real estate asset management strategy and by maintaining and developing the relationship with the tenants. Willem was previously member of the expansion team of H&M Hennes & Mauritz (BeLux), where he was responsible for the complete lease administration and real estate management. Prior to that he worked for a French retail group as expansion and real estate manager for different brands (Granita Lingerie, Tape à l’oeil). He holds a degree in Law (KU Leuven) and also a postgraduate degree in real estate (KU Leuven). Willem speaks three languages (Dutch, French, English).

Axel Despriet has over 10 years’ experience in European real estate investment and development. Axel previously worked at GLL Real Estate Partners in Munich as Acquisition Manager for Western Europe. Prior to this, he was an Investment Advisor at Catella Property Group for Benelux area. Axel holds a degree in Civil Engineering (Architecture) from the University of Leuven (KUL) and a Master’s degree in General Management from Vlerick Management School. Axel speaks four languages (Dutch, French, English, German).

Jan Du Bois joined Mitiska REIM in 2006 and heads Mitiska REIM’s activities in Belgium. Jan previously worked as real estate consultant at Cushman & Wakefield where he specialized in peripheral retail property transactions. Prior to that, Jan worked as an export manager with Cargill. He holds a degree in Applied Economics (FUNDP & KU Leuven) and, in addition, he received HR management education at the University of Antwerp (UAMS). Jan speaks three languages (Dutch, French, English).

Marc Formisani has joined Mitiska in the newly created role of Director M&A and Financial Planning, to lead and execute the strong pipeline of investment opportunities the company is undertaking across its Western, Central and Eastern European markets. In this new role, Marc will work closely with the Mitiska REIM investment team to identify, assess and execute investment opportunities in both clustered and standalone retail parks, and integrated retail properties. Marc joins Mitiska REIM following 15 years’ experience in cross-border M&A at KBL European Private Bankers, where he was Deputy CFO and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, and at Dexia Group.

Luc Geuten has more than 30 years of experience in retail and real estate, both as serial entrepreneur and as investor. Luc started his career with McKinsey & Company where he worked as a consultant. He holds an MBA from Harvard University and has a degree in Civil Engineering (Chemistry) from the University of Leuven (KUL). Luc speaks four languages (Dutch, French, English, Italian).

Sylvie Geuten brings over 20 years of diverse experience in retail and marketing. Sylvie previously worked for Exxon and Coca Cola and, as an entrepreneur, she developed and sold a retail business in interior home decoration. Sylvie holds a degree in Business Engineering from the University of Leuven (KUL) and a Master’s degree in Financial Management from Vlerick Management School. Sylvie speaks three languages (Dutch, French, English).

Enzo Guidez, a French national formerly based in Portugal, joins Mitiska REIM as an Investment Analyst. Enzo started his career in Lisbon as a consultant in capital markets, first at CBRE and then at Retail Partners Europe. He holds a postgraduate degree in finance from the University of Porto.

Sigrid Hermans joined the company in 2000. Sigrid oversees financial reporting to investors, compliance matters and the provision of accounting supervision and tax structuring in relation to investments in portfolio as well as to new acquisitions. She started her career at Coopers & Lybrand (certified auditor). Sigrid holds a degree in applied economics from the RUCA and gained additional tax education at Ehsal. Sigrid speaks three languages (Dutch, French, English).

Stefan Klug has joined Mitiska REIM in August 2016 as Head of Germany. Stefan is responsible for the sourcing, development and management of partnerships with retail park developers and investors, with a strong focus on the acquisition of existing retail parks with an important value enhancement upside potential. Stefan has 24 years’ experience in the German real estate industry, with a special focus on retail. His prior positions include senior roles at Karstadt Immobilien AG, Karstadt Warenhaus AG and most recently as managing director at mfi Development GmbH (unibail rodamco Germany).

Christophe Mouton joined Mitiska REIM in June 2016 as Head of Spain and Portugal. Christophe is responsible for the sourcing, development and management of partnerships with retail park developers and investor, with a strong focus on the investment in new retail park development projects. Before joining Mitiska REIM, Christophe was the CEO of Klépierre/Corio and Altarea in Spain and Germany, managing relevant portfolios of shopping centres. Prior to this, he launched and managed the Bouygues Inmobiliaria Retail Parc Department. Christophe speaks three languages (Spanish , French & English).

Natacha Put joined the company in March 2015 to support the accountancy department. She manages the accountancy of the Belgian projects and controls the accountancies of the foreign projects. Natacha brings over 10 years of experience in shopping center management. She previously worked at Devimo Consult, where she coordinated and supervised the accounting team. Prior to that, Natacha worked at KBC Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She holds a degree in accounting and a post-graduate in tax law. Natacha speaks three languages (Dutch, French and English).

Bernard Raevens joined the company in 2008. Bernard previously worked with Fortis Private Equity for 4 years. Prior to that, he worked in consulting at Roland Berger and Arthur D. Mateusz Szymczak, a Polish national, has joined Mitiska REIM as Investment Analyst. Mateusz joins Mitiska REIM from MS TFI, a Polish real estate fund management company, where he worked as investment analyst for the closed-end investment fund MARS FIZ. Prior to this, Mateusz was a financial analyst at Unibail Rodamco. Mateusz holds a master in finance and accounting from the Warsaw School of Economics.

David Tejml joined Mitiska REIM in 2014 as head of MITISKA REIM’s operations in CEE. In this position, David is responsible for current investments in CEE as well as for the further sourcing and development of new projects across the CEE region. David was previously the CEO for Czech Republic and Slovakia within the Saller Group, a German backed private real estate development company owning and managing over 1 million square meter of retail real estate in Germany, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. David speaks three languages (Czech, German and English).

Bram Thomas joined Mitiska REIM in November 2016 as Investment Manager. With a passion for retail (real estate), he started his career at Tommy Hilfiger Europe and Lidl Belgium before moving to health and beauty at Yves Rocher as Development Manager Benelux. Before joining Mitiska REIM, Bram was the COO of Uplace, responsible for the commercialization and development of the real estate portfolio. Bram holds a degree in Business Engineering (HUB) and also a post-graduate degree in Real Estate Management from the University of Leuven (KUL). Bram speaks three languages (Dutch, French & English).

Nele Van Cutsem joined Mitiska REIM in 2015 as transaction & administration manager. Nele is involved in collection, managing, processing and storing all property and corporate documentation for the Mitiska REIM projects and investments in Belgium and across Europe. Nele joined the company from USG Legal Professionals NV where she worked as paralegal consultant for 1,5 years. Prior to that she worked for Belchim Crop Protection NV as contract & insurance administrator. She holds a bachelor degree in Business Management and a master degree in Criminology. Nele speaks three languages (Dutch, English, French)

Matthias Van Dorpe joined Mitiska as of 19 June 2017 as Senior Legal Counsel. Matthias will manage the legal matters of interest to Mitiska REIM within the scope of the fund management activities as well as the legal matters related to development projects, acquisitions and divestments by the funds managed by Mitiska REIM. Matthias brings over 15 years’ legal experience within the field of company law, mergers & acquisitions and real estate. He joins us from Uplace, where he has been working as Legal Manager for more than 5 years. Previously he also worked 3 years for NautaDutilh and 6 years for Loyens & Loeff. Matthias holds a Master’s Degree in Law from KU Leuven and a Master in Company Law from KU Brussel/KU Leuven. He speaks fluent Dutch, English, French.
